Prairie Voice Services Press Release
SEKO Worldwide and Prairie Voice Services Deploy Voice-Based Automated Delivery Notification System
Itasca, IL, and Omaha, NE (June 7th, 2005) — SEKO Worldwide, a global provider of freight forwarding and logistics solutions, and Prairie Voice Services, a leading specialist in interactive voice services and Internet messaging, today jointly announced a voice-based automated delivery notification system. Using speech synthesis of XML data, this solution provides a two-part notification to the end customer. The first call informs the end customer of the shipment’s departure from the point of origin; the second notification call is placed when the shipment is available for delivery. To schedule a delivery time, the application can bridge customers to SEKO’s call center. This avoids the substantial expense or lost revenue associated with scheduling appointments manually.
“The Prairie Voice Services solution will relieve the calling load on our customer service representatives, freeing them to focus on serving SEKO’s clients,” says Tom Madzy, CIO at SEKO Worldwide. “This will keep our customer service reps from spending critical time leaving messages or listening to busy signals. Prairie Voice Services offers a simple, valuable solution to a significant business challenge.”
“We’re excited to welcome SEKO Worldwide as a new client to our Transportation and Logistics portfolio.” Ann Cannon, Senior Vice President of Sales and Product Management at Prairie Voice Services continues, “SEKO’s innovative business practices will leverage Prairie Voice Services’ integrated voice solutions to deliver groundbreaking customer service within the freight industry. We look forward to working with SEKO, a leader in their field.”
SEKO’s delivery notification application is built on the Prairie Voice Services communication solutions platform, which offers extensive inbound and outbound automated alerting capabilities, integrated within a common environment with text, email, fax and other messaging protocols. The solution can be rapidly deployed.
